CRYSTAL FAUSETT
About Me
I'm deeply interested in how people interact with technology and their environments. My research has covered a broad range of users: from healthcare patients and paramedics, to cyber network defenders, combat officers, adults focused on reproductive health, and naval operations. I'm particularly curious about how these different groups find and use information, and I aim to make the systems they operate in more efficient. Recently, I have begun exploring adaptive training techniques, focusing on integrating these methods into simulation-based training (SBT) environments. This includes both physical simulations and software-driven game scenarios. Before my PhD studies, I graduated with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Applied Computing for Behavioral and Social Sciences from San José State University.
